Gift Aid Declaration

Charleston Trust is a charitable trust set up to maintain and develop Charleston, its collections, house, grounds and events for the public benefit.

If you are a UK tax payer, Gift Aid enables charities to reclaim 25p for the Inland Revenue for every £1 you give which will make a significant financial contribution to the work of the Trust. We can claim back Gift Aid on your tickets if you agree to add an option 10% donation to the standard ticket price (by choosing a Gift Aid priced ticket). This turns your ticket into a charitable donation that is eligible for Gift Aid.

The money that we claim back from HMRC as part of the Gift Aid scheme will be treated as unrestricted funds and used to support our general work, even if your original donation was made towards a specific project.

If you wish to cancel your gift aid declaration and/or need to notify us of a change of name or address please contact friends@charleston.org.uk A Gift Aid donation can only be made for entry by the individual and members of their family.
